Harlingen Consolidated Independent School Districts celebrates Instructional Coach Week on February 20-24.
With a presence on every campus, the mission of an Instructional Coach is to provide teachers with instructional support and furnish students with appropriate activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
They achieve this mission by continually working with teachers and administration to develop goals for their classroom and discussing effective teaching models. They also serve as the campus’ resource when it comes to state testing by keeping current with the guidelines, terminology, and format.
Throughout the day campuses show their appreciation through different events and messages of gratitude.
