HCISD celebrates Early College High School Week during March 20-24. Early college high schools continue to tackle one of our nation’s biggest educational challenges—propelling students from underserved backgrounds to graduate from high school and earn postsecondary degrees.
Early college high schools blend high school and college in a rigorous yet supportive program, compressing the time it takes to complete a high school diploma and the first two years of college. While enrolled, students can simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree or up to two years of credit toward a Bachelor’s degree, tuition free.
ECHS Owls will host events throughout the week highlighting the pillars of good character. The Student Council invites all students to take part and show that Owl pride!
