As part of the HCISD and Harlingen Public Library summer reading program readers are recognized for the hours they have read throughout the months of June and July. To demonstrate how important this is HCISD will be awarding the top reader from grades K-2,3-5,6-8, and 9-12 with Kindle Fires. This was made possible because of a generous donation from our Harlingen Area Education Foundation.
