Students at Crockett Elementary were in for a surprise visitor on May 1.
Congressman Filemon Vela visited the students at Crockett. He spoke to students on the importance of receiving an education and gave students the opportunity to ask any questions they had for the political official.
Filemon welcomed the visit after he was invited by the campus to stop by.
