The Wal-Mart Superstore in Harlingen recently awarded twenty teachers from Ben Milam Elementary a total of $2,000.
These teachers were selected and recognized for spending a portion of their own money for their students.
Giving back to these generous teachers, they were awarded with gift cards and other surprises.
In appreciation of their hard work, store assistant manager Ronnie Magaña, and Wal-Mart cashiers Mrs. Haynes and Ms. Avila, also presented the staff with awards during their staff meeting on Sept. 16.
